OUTTA ROAD
On Friday April 7th, 2006, dancehall performer Rasheen Roberts, aka Outta Road, was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in a maximum security prison for a crime he did not commit. Even though video evidence was presented to the court, it was ignored by the district attorney. Outta Road is currently in the process of filing an appeal with the courts but due to the financial strain of the original trial, his family lacks the funds necessary to obtain an appeal attorney which is nearly $30,000. A donation of any amount would greatly help.
